No grills or picnic tables. This trail joins the main Lansing River Trail at Potter Park by way of the River Trail South spur, providing safe, convenient access to the park for pedestrians, bicyclists and rollerbladers from Lansing and East Lansing. The River Trail takes a lovely route along the river through parks, woodlands and along urban trails. I like this park because it links to a bigger trail system in Lansing. Places to visit in downtown include the Capitol Building, Library of Michigan, Michigan Historical Museum, and the Vietnam Memorial. Walking around they made it look nice.
